Space for you and your next steps

A space to think about you

Perhaps you have an ambition you keep putting aside. You may be navigating a change, questioning your next step or feeling stretched by the responsibility of doing so much yourself.

You might want to feel more confident in your parenting, build a stronger support network or explore who you are beyond your responsibilities.

You do not need to be in crisis, have a clear goal or know exactly what to say. We can begin wherever you are.

What we can explore together

Your goals and ambitions

Make space to consider what you want for your life, alongside what your family needs. We can explore ideas, recognise your strengths and turn an ambition into manageable next steps.

Confidence and self-belief

Reflect on how you see yourself, what influences your decisions and where you would like to feel more confident. We make room to recognise what you already bring and where you want to grow.

Parenting and family life

Think through parenting challenges, family routines and the pressures of making decisions without someone consistently sharing the responsibility. Together, we explore approaches that fit your circumstances and values.

Relationships and boundaries

Consider what you need from the people around you, how to communicate those needs and where clearer boundaries may help. This can include navigating relationships with an involved, inconsistently involved or absent other parent.

Building your village

Explore the support you have, the support you need and what makes it difficult to ask for or accept help. Your village may include friends, family, community connections and professional services.

Change and next steps

Whether you are returning to work, pursuing learning, adjusting to a new situation or rethinking your priorities, we can create space to consider your options and plan your next steps.

How mentoring works

Our conversations combine time to reflect with practical guidance, encouragement and planning.

You bring your experience, questions and priorities. Together, we explore what is happening, consider different possibilities and identify actions that feel useful and achievable.

Where helpful, I may offer suggestions, share relevant knowledge or help you find other sources of support. You remain the person making decisions about your life.

There is room for uncertainty and for the weeks when things do not go to plan. We review what is helping and adjust our approach as we go.

An approach that considers your whole situation

Your choices are shaped by more than motivation. Time, money, childcare, relationships, work and access to support all influence what is possible.

A systemic perspective helps us consider these connections. We look at the pressures around you, patterns you would like to understand and strengths you can build on.

The aim is to find a way forward that respects your circumstances while making room for what you want to achieve.

What you can expect

  • A respectful space where your experience is taken seriously.
  • Support shaped around your priorities.
  • Thoughtful questions and honest, compassionate conversations.
  • Practical next steps agreed together.
  • Clear information about fees, session arrangements and confidentiality.
  • Opportunities to review whether the support is meeting your needs.

You will not be expected to arrive with a polished plan or leave every session with everything resolved.

Who is it for?

Solo Mum Elevation is for single mothers who would welcome support with their own development, parenting or next chapter.

You may be managing well in some areas and finding others difficult. You may feel proud of what you have built and ready to explore what comes next.

Your family circumstances and ambitions are your own. Our work starts with understanding what matters to you.

Getting started

  1. 1

    Make an enquiry

Tell us a little about what you are looking for. You do not need to share sensitive personal details in your initial message.

  2. 2

Explore whether it is a good fit

We discuss your priorities, how mentoring works, current availability and fees, so you can decide whether to proceed.

  3. 3

    Agree a starting point

Together, we agree what you would like support with and how we will work. Your priorities can develop as the conversations progress.

  4. 4

    Review along the way

We check what you are finding useful, what is changing and whether you would like to continue, adjust or finish.

About the support

Solo Mum Elevation provides mentoring and practical support focused on your goals, parenting and everyday life. It is distinct from counselling or psychotherapy and is not an emergency service.

Before sessions begin, we explain confidentiality and its limits, including how concerns about someone’s safety would be handled. Where another type of support would better meet your needs, we can discuss appropriate options.

Make room for your next chapter

You do not need to wait until everything feels settled to think about yourself.

Whether you are bringing a question, a challenge or an ambition, Solo Mum Elevation offers space to explore it, with support alongside you.
